Alquist

$ a bare-metal operating system_

About

Alquist is a bare-metal operating system — kernel, drivers and tooling that run directly on hardware, without an underlying host OS. It is designed to be portable across platforms.

Hardware

Development currently happens on a Raspberry Pi, which is simply a convenient and readily available board for experimentation — not a target platform. The system is not tied to any specific device.
